In April 2024, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC NC KAZAKH INVEST, Carlsberg Kazakhstan launched a new production site in Almaty. Investments in the project amounted to $50 million, which increased the capacity for the production of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from 2.3 million hl to 3.0 million hl per year. Anara Mekebaeva, Head of Cooperation with European Countries at the national company KAZAKH INVEST, took part in the opening ceremony.
The new production line provides bottling of products in two formats – 0.43 l and 0.33 l cans. Its speed is 30% higher than that of the two existing lines, which significantly increases production efficiency. In addition, the line uses air cleaning of cans instead of water, which reduces water consumption and makes the process more environmentally friendly.
Change PR Kazakhstan was responsible for working with the media and bloggers. Thanks to the agency’s work, the opening of the new production site received wide coverage in the media and social networks.
